Bandung: Holiday!

Actually, its not purely a holiday. There's this one students organization in campus that I've been participating for whole of my university year. And this is like the closing holiday for the whole 2012-2013 management generation. The whole management will be officially transferred to a new generation once this holiday is over.

We managed to go to Bandung only for 2 days 1 night, but it was fun! Although we can't go to as much places as we wanted to (we only went to Tangkuban Perahu, Ciater Hot Spring, a museum which I forgot the name, Kartika Sari which is famous Bandung snack shopping) but the whole point of this holiday was togetherness and we glad we made it.

Preparations on campus, waiting for friends to come and took pictures on campus' statement pond before taking off. Taking photos on bus too.

After about 5 hours on the road, we arrived on Tangkuban Perahu. A mountain in Indonesia famous for its active mountains that's emitting sulphur gas (but it is safe).

Satisfied with all mountains view and the freshness, no, sulphurite air, we continued to Sari Ater Hot Spring where people went there to take a bath from the hot spring. The hot spring contains some sulphur material (again, it is safe for people) that believed have a lot of benefit for the health: to smoothen the skin, relieve rheumatic, avoid skin aging, and so on.

The water really are hot! But soon I'm getting used for its temperature. At first, I didn't want to try bathing on the water, but my friends forced me and I'm glad I tried! It was so soothing, and fun!

Look at the photo. I'm so wet wtf. haha!

From Sari Ater, we finally went to our villa and took some rest. At night, we have a sharing session about the organization (yes, it was a very sad moment, where everyone said their own feelings during the whole year work) and finally have a closing toast! Cola Kanpai for all the hardwork all this time! BRAVO!

At the next morning, some of us went to Kartikasari to buy some famous Bandung snacks to be brought home, some of them went to a museum which name I forgot, and some of us went to church because it was Sunday (and I went to church that day, so I didn't have any photos of other activities on museum or Kartikasari.) and finally we had our last lunch. Me and one of my friend treated them as a graduation present from us to all of them.

Finish with our lunch, we took one final photos in front of the restaurant. Although not all of the management managed to attend this event, we represent them also.

That's all of my, no, our lightspeed holiday in Bandung. I will miss them so much since I will start working already on March. I even don't really know when will I meet them again. I'll make some time then. :)

However, thank you friends for this great 2 days, and (for me) 3 years worth of work. You're the best!!

To London We Go? A Farewell Party!

Last 31st of August 2012, I’m attending my first (part-time) boss Ratih Putri Hadiwinoto’s Farewell Party on Canteen, Plaza Indonesia. This farewell was in regard to Ratih’s plan to study in London for 2 years forward.

Ratih was my direct supervisor in Ring A Bell Now, a small consultant company specialized in gifts and events ideas. In short, people ask us to give them services regarding on gift/party ideas via proposals. I joined them on early 2012 for 3 months only, but the work was all EXTREMELY fun. So, this night was specially made for us, Ring A Bell team to celebrate a good farewell party (sponsored by Ratih, of course). THANK YOU!!

She will continue her Master study in London, focusing on Law subjects. She gained this chance by applying the scholarship selection from her working place and she beat all of the other applicant WHICH were mostly above her based on job position rank. Geez. One hell of a tough woman. SO PROUD SO PROUD SO PROUD :D

Anyway, This is Tita, Ratih (Star of the night), Me, and Melly as a Ring A Bell Team!

This is us! Full team Ring A Bell Now! From left to right: me, Melly (the hijjabed one), Tita, Roy, Ratih, Frizalky a.k.a Idos (Ratih’s cousin. Hell what! No similarities at all!), Agresty, and Tazri (in white shirt, he is Melly’s boyfriend).

Us, with our gifts to Ratih! There are several different gifts: London Map which were made by some kind of elastic and waterproof materials (we can stretch it!), batik scarfs, bolpoint, and other stuffs. Hope you like it Ratih!

After the dinner, we spontaneusly decided to have a stretching time which was to play bowling. Geez. This is my first time and I’m suck!! Hahaha.

Me, Tita and Ratih seriously watching over score board on TV screen and other's performance. We have a bet at that time, that the one who has the lowest point has to pay all of the foods and drinks bills. Hell! This tournament getting serious, escalated to another level and I’m SUCK.

Nervously being taught by Agresty’s boyfriend how to serve the ball correctly. Sooorrryyy I forgot his name but he is very kind!!! And I’m really afraid I’ll pay for the bill. Hahaha.

Idos, the master of bowling tournament. He was like, strike everytime he serves. Gosh!

Anyway, this is us after the (mentally) tiring bowling tournament. Very exciting! Even though I’m suck at this game (and no beginner’s luck at all for me this time), the togetherness was awesome. Pretty sad though, this is the last time I see Ratih before she goes to London.

Surely, we will all meet again some time in the future! See you when I see you all again, and all the best for you Ratih! Really looking forward to work with you again in the future! LOTS, LOTS, LOTS OF LOVE!!

There's Goodbye in Every Hello

Finally, the day when my internship program was coming to an end on 18th of September, 2012. Sure I'll miss this place a lot. I've really enjoyed myself while I'm working here. Great experience and stuffs, moreover great friends and memorable moments. From signing contracts, community day meetings, overtime work hour, community day, night out, and others.

Time flew fast, didn't day? Oh, and they always will.

I'm sure will be missing this office a lot.

This is my last desk before I'm done. Actually, my other friends done 1 week before me, because I'm the one who have been late (for 1 week) in joining the program. So, for 1 week, I'm the only internee here. I'm the maknae!

And here is the overall situation on my floor:

Quite neat and worker friendly actually. However, to be honest, I'm getting bored of this place in less than 2 months (while my intern program was 3 months period)

Getting some snapshoots before all the goodbyes:

This was taken actually about 2 weeks before my last day. Several internees were already on their last day so we gathered together to get some snaps. Oh, we took it with Mrs. Lolly (3rd person from the left, standing row) who were always with us as a VE coordinator. She's like office-mother to us. Enough said.

Purposely-candid photo we managed to take (me, Dilla and Nadia; which were in the same division). We're the best internee trio. I think?

Say hi to Dila!

Finally, final snaps on my last day! The whole tax team!

And then, below are my 2 favorite seniors, teachers, friends and couple in this office! So far, they are the most unmatched couple I've seen, but somehow made for each other, on the other hand they are both funny like shit, always ranting and joking for some unbelievable stuffs. Looking forward to meet you guys again!

Every moment, I treasure well. See you when I see you again people! Office! Soon!
