Spontaneous VE Night Out!

Yeah, although a little bit late, No. Very late, but I want to share to you guys my unforgettable night with my internship fellas, which were happened on early August.

That day, while we were working, one of my friend asked us to went for dinner together, or break-fasting together (yap, It's fasting months for most of my friends which is mostly moslems) and HELL YEAH!! Why not?! So we asked several friends to join in together and we managed to go to and eat on Bebek Kaleyo Tebet.

The place were crowded as hell. But we've managed to order several menus that luckily, after our order, the menu was simply out of stock. Jeez, what a close call.

Here are several photos:

#1 Maulana a.k.a Molen who aware of the camera and Samuel who keeps digging in his food

#2 Maritzka a.k.a Cece, Nadia, Me, and Nurul a.k.a Lulu

#5 Me, Nadia, Lulu

Ok, despite the tiredness, oiliness from all of our faces, the dinner was awesome! The fried duck was perfect, a lil bit oily though.

There were other guys too, Ghifary and Luthfan and several other boys I've forgot their names. Sorry.
After we finished eating, we went spontaneously again to go for a karaoke on Plaza Semanggi. However, only several of us joined because several other had other business to go on or went home.

Another journey to Plaza Semanggi, having a blast spontaneous karaoke-ing!

#6 The super confident and beautiful voice Samuel

#7 Me! (Gosh my face was so oily!! Whatever)

#8 Full karaoke team!! Minus Cece though It was Luthfan on the right.

After one hour full of rampage karaoke (and another discovery: Cece can sing DANGDUT perfectly. Gosh!) we finally decided to go home. But! On the road Samuel spontaneously again decided to visit Cafe Pisa to try for it's legendary ice-cream (although it's perfectly like Zangrandi or Ragusa) and we hanging out again! for a while at the cafe. And then we finally decided to go home.

What a perfect outing night I think! Impulsive food and its all about having fun! Let's do it again someday!!

Finally Outback

Long time no post!

Yea, I was like, hell no what the hell again I wanna write about my life? Nothing to do for some long time, BUT! Finally I have some good materials to be written on eheheheh. Be prepared for several posts coming.

About 3 weeks ago I (finally) managed to take my mom and dad FORCEFULLY to try on this drooling steak I was recommended.

Outback Steakhouse, located in Ratu Plaza, Sudirman, with cozy warm surrounding complementing the whole environment for good eating. Super excited yet high expected. In here, you can choose the steak plus 2 complementary dish you choose: fries, vegetables, fried rice, baked potato, mashed potato. The best? Mashed Potato + vegetables.

This is my order:

#1 Grilled Salmon Steak with fried rice and veggie

So good, the fish was so juicy and fresh and so BIG, no smelly-thingy at all (which is usually common for salmon-type fish). Fresh vegetables was perfect too. The fried rice is so-so. I'm wondering how can they make the perfect grilled line like that??

This is my mum's:

#2 Outback Special Steak (I forgot the exact name) with mashed potato and fries

Great texture of meat, no oily part at all. My mum said, this is a steak that is suitable for old people, healthy and cholesterol free. (but mum! you ordered french fries too!! and with mashed potato too. is that unhealthy?? and WEIRD???)

and then my dad:

#3 Outback Special something something with something sauce the hell I really forget served with grilled potato and veggie. but its the most pricey from all.

fat-free steak (healthy) but lots of mushroom mayonnaise-ey sauce (unhealthy) But overall this is the greatest steak we've ordered! Considered the price too...

but the last and the most delicious part issss....

#4 Apple Pie Ice Cream

Tadaaaaahhh!! The dessert!!! What, it ain't steak?? Yes.
I don't know why but I think this is the best meal we ordered that day, even compared to the steak. The crust is so perfectly baked, soft and hot apple crumble inside the crust, combined with soft and not too sweet vanilla ice cream is soooooo ....... heaven.

SO, in a nutshell, besides the perfect Apple Pie Ice Cream, everything is a little bit overpriced. About plus-min 300.000 per pax / per menu. My expectation was so high before I try these steaks but after I try all of the menu I ordered, I'm just like, "ok, this is great" but yeah it's only that. Nothing more. Unbelievably, the most drop dead gorgeous taste come from the dessert, and it was just like 56.000. Fuckin' crazy.

Wont come to this place again for maybe some long time, but will go willingly only for the Ice Cream Apple Pie! Yihaa!!
